The purpose of the African Women in Cinema Blog is to provide a space to discuss diverse topics relating to African women in cinema--filmmakers, actors, producers, and all film professionals. The blog is a public forum of the Centre for the Study and Research of African Women in Cinema.

Luxor African Film Festival | Le festival du film africain de Louxor 2015 : Women at the 4th Edition | Les femmes à la 4ème Édition
Women are represented in all categories at the 4th Edition of the Luxor African Film Festival. The festival will open its doors from 16 to 21 March 2015 in Luxor, Egypt. During the next week, the Blog's will feature the women whose films are included in the official selection. Below is a listing by category of the filmmakers and their films.

À la 4ème edition du festival de film africain de Louxor, les femmes sont représentées dans toutes les catégories. Le festival ouvrira ses portes du 16 au 21 mars 2015 à Louxor en Égypte. Au cours de la semaine prochain, le Blog mettra en vedette les femmes dont les films sont inclus dans la sélection officielle. Voici une liste par catégorie des réalisatrices et leurs films.
