ADAMIC (Association of Cameroonian women of the image) is a group of dynamic young women filmmakers working for the development of Cameroonian cinema made by women in particular. We are a group of talented and devoted Cameroonian women filmmakers who have come together as an association, to provide the opportunity for women to professionalize as practitioners, in almost all sectors of cinema (production, directing, acting, cinematography, decoration, sound, makeup, costumes and administration, etc.).
In the context of International African Women's Day, the Ateliers ADAMIC partners with XOESE, the Francophone women's fund to encourage young women towards entrepreneurship.
Financed by the XOESE, le fonds des femmes francophones, l’ADAMIC organized this activity to bring these women out of idleness and to empower them. “We are working to develop the minds of women. And as women of the image, we are trying to understand their transgressions and different tribulations, which will later allow us to create a web series,” projects Elise Kameni, president of the association.
