Synopsis

Deux jeunes femmes détruites de l’intérieur entre 08 et 15 ans. Des abus sexuels ont tôt arraché leur innocence, mais elles font tout pour se reconstruire. Malgré tout, la grosse cicatrice est encore là, prête à rappeler à Madeleine et Sophie que le viol est un crime.

Two young women, who were between 8 and 15 years old at the time, have been destroyed from within. Sexual abuse took away their innocence at an early age, and yet they are striving hard to rebuild themselves. Nonetheless, the  scars run deep and remain, ever present as a reminder to Madeleine and Sophie that rape is a crime.

Biographie | Biography

Flore Mbensi Tamko est Journaliste de nationalité camerounaise. Passionnée de l’audiovisuel, elle a travaillé comme Journaliste à Radio Equinoxe/Equinoxe Tv, puis à la télévision LTM avant d’atterrir en mars 2017 à Cordia Prod, la plus importante maison de production audiovisuelle et cinématographique du Cameroun. Parallèlement à sa fonction de directrice de la rédaction, elle découvre à Cordia Prod le métier de réalisateur. L’opportunité est vite saisie par cette habituée de grands reportages qui signe officiellement son premier court métrage documentaire : Obscurité dans mon miroir. Le film a remporté le Prix Amazone du Jury au Festival International de Films de Femmes (FIFF), Cotonou au Bénin. Il était en sélection officielle dans la catégorie « documentaires africains » à URUSARO International Women Film Festival au Rwanda.

Flore Mbensi Tamko is a Cameroonian journalist with a keen interest in the audiovisual. She worked as a journalist at Radio Equinoxe / Equinoxe TV, then at LTM television before landing at Cordia Prod, the largest audiovisual and cinematographic production house in Cameroon, in March 2017. In addition to her role as editorial director, she discovered filmmaking at Cordia Prod. Accustomed to producing extensive news stories, she quickly seized the opportunity producing her first documentary short film: Obscurité dans mon miroir. The film won the Amazon Jury Prize at the International Women's Film Festival (FIFF) of Cotonou in Benin. She was in the official selection in the “African documentaries” category at URUSARO International Women Film Festival in Rwanda.
