Synopsis
Lamia et son mari attendent leur tour à la clinique pour l’excision de leur petite fille. Les dix minutes d’attente amène Lamia à sa rappeler sa propre expérience et se demande si elle peut changer le destin de sa fille.
Lamia and her husband wait with their young daughter who will undergo excision. During the ten-minute wait, Lamia is reminded of her own experience and wonders if she may be able to change her daughter's fate.

Jaylan Auf est une réalisatrice égyptienne diplômée de l’Université américaine du Caire. Elle a reçu une bourse de l’USC pour financer son diplôme en scénario et en production. En 2015 elle est nommée pour le prix Robert Bosch Stiftung, institution caritative notamment reconnue pour sa promotion de la culture et des relations internationales.
Jaylan Auf is an Egyptian filmmaker. As a scholarship recipient of the USC, she graduated from the American University of Cairo in screenwriting and production. In 2015, she was nominated for the Robert Bosch Stiftung Award, a charity institution known for its promotion of culture and international relations.
