Synopsis

A separated young couple, Ghada, 35, and Khaled, 36, realize that their only daughter Salma, 8, has an incurable disease that will cause her to lose her eyesight very soon. Before her world gets increasingly dark, Khaled decides to make his daughter’s wish come true—to swim with the colorful fish in the Red Sea.

Professional Encounters is a platform designed to support and promote independent cinema from the Arab region. This project offers a golden opportunity for Arab independent filmmakers and producers working on feature-length films to connect with professionals from France and around the globe. Through these encounters, we aim to facilitate partnerships, collaborations, and co-productions that will contribute to the growth and development of the independent film industry.
