Sociologue, photographe et réalisatrice, Sabrina Onana signe un deuxième long métrage consacré à la femme noire. Dans son documentaire, "Je suis noire, je suis belle (phrase inspirée d’un verset biblique Je suis noire, mais je suis belle”) , la réalisatrice donne la parole à 12 femmes noires qui évoquent sans tabou leurs douloureuses expériences d'être une femme noire dans un monde où les codes de la beauté sont régies par des critères européens.
Sociologist, photographer and filmmaker, Sabrina Onana signs a second film dedicated to black women. In her documentary, I am black, I am beautiful (phrase inspired by the biblical verse "I am black, but I am beautiful”), the filmmaker gives voice to 12 black women who speak without taboo about their painful experiences of being a black woman in a world where beauty codes are hegemonized by European standards.
