Web storytelling is increasingly prevalent in the screen practices of African women. Nthabiseng Mosieane extends an invitation to follow her channel, "The Reel Nthabiseng" as she documents "reel stories across Africa and the world."

Her social media presence is evident in the diverse links to her networks.

During the Women's Month 2019, Nthabiseng Mosieane features a diversity of women who share their experiences about love, intimacy and relationships.

She had this to say about why she created the series (from the YouTube description):

Being a woman in South Africa today is a journey of mountains and valleys, it has it's high's and lows. I wanted to do this series to see where exactly do we stand, are we in a good place as women in South Africa?

I know that it is not enough to just talk about issues, but I believe an open dialogue may inspire people to act on things that are passionate to them and help make a change in the world with what they have. This is what I have and I do hope it makes a difference to our society.
