Synopsis
Bebicha is an ambitious woman and a fighter. Armed with courage, she fights for change in the heart of the trade union of the Abdou Moumouni University of Niamey. She wants to bring women into key positions in order to have decision-making power.

Bébicha est une femme ambitieuse et battante. Armée de courage, elle se bat pour un changement au sein du cadre syndical de l’Université Abdou Moumouni de Niamey en voulant intégrer la gente féminine aux prises de décision en occupant des postes importants.

Mariama Djermakoye, filmmaker from Niger, and student in the Arts and Culture program at the Abdou Moumouni University of Niamey, has a particular approach to image making. For her the image should serve, it should be a tool that serves those without a voice. Activist for the rights of women and children, she uses her camera in order to go beyond words.

Mariama Djermakoye, réalisatrice nigérienne, étudiante de la filière Arts et Culture de l’Université Abdou Moumouni de Niamey, elle a une approche particulière de l’image. Pour elle, une image doit servir, elle doit être une arme qui sert ceux qui n’ont pas de parole. Militante des droits de la femme et de l’enfant, elle utilise sa caméra pour aller au-delà des paroles.
